SUMMER BIBLE STUDY:
ESTHER: It’s Tough Being A Woman
June 10th at 6:30pm
Join us for a video-driven study of Queen Esther as Beth Moore peels back the layers of history and shows us how contemorary and applicable her story is today. Contact Jill Herbert at sasha929@ameritech.net for more information.
Mom to Mom Bible Study:
Designed to be both a place of nurture for committed Christian women and a “safe place” to bring community friends, it often becomes a bridge into the church. Beginning January 6, 2009, join us the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 9:15-11:30AM for this study - designed to encourage moms, with children from infancy through grade school, to be better equipped through Biblically based instruction. Each mom also receives Bible study materials to use during the week to reinforce the lessons.
Registration is required for this study as childcare will be provided for children infancy through age 5. Semester classes will run from September-November and January-May. A fee is involved for each semester. Come join us as we share joys, challenges, frustrations, hope in a powerful God and heart to heart encouragement from one mom to another.

Ladies of James:
Ladies of James is founded on the James 1:27 passage of scripture: “Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father meant that we must care for orphans and WIDOWS in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us.” We, at Women’s Ministries come along side our loved ones - our widows and embrace where there are in their station of life. Opportunities are given for grief counseling, lifestyle planning, social outreach, household helps and spiritual welfare.

Firm Foundation:
Six week session: Tuesdays
July 7 from 6:30 - 7:30pm
Firm Foundation is an exercise ministry focusing on strengthening our two most important foundations – our relationship with Christ and our body’s core. Core strength is the foundation of true fitness. When the body’s core muscles are strong, the rest of the body functions more efficiently. We improve endurance, balance and gain mobility in our muscles and joints.
But as important as exercise is, God desires us to be more than just beautiful, empty vessels. We are precious to God and He wants us to be adorned internally, not just externally. Firm foundations will incorporate stability ball, band, dowel and body weight exercise with fellowship, Christian music, readings and prayer. It is the mission of this ministry to help women grow in love, confidence, spiritual and physical strength - developing a firmer foundation in both body and spirit. The class is limited to 20 participants and is free to all participants. Bring an exercise mat or blanket.

Scrapbooking:
Meeting the 1st Saturday of every month from 9am-9pm
Scrap booking is creating memories for your family that they will enjoy for years. Everyone is welcome from the beginner to the expert! Ladies who make cards and other crafts are also encouraged to join us for a special time of fellowship with other “Scrappers.” There is no cost. There will be a Cricket available for use for a small cost. Bring your own food and drinks – even things to share! Scrappers can come and go as they need. This is for the sole purpose of setting up enough tables. If you forget to call, you’re welcome to come - we will make room for you! This is a great way to make friends and learn new techniques. Sharing tools is extremely helpful and cost affective.
