Unstoppable: Bound in His Love, Freed by His Spirit | Week 2
Romans Bible Study Reading Plan | November 1-December 3
This multi-week reading plan will give the Woodside church family a thorough look at Paul’s letter to the Romans. Because of the depth and richness of the letter, we have designed a plan to give you important segments for each day. Once you complete these smaller readings, you will find days in the reading plan that encourage you to read an entire chapter. This will help you gain a more robust understanding of Paul’s writing. We believe the truths presented in Romans can be transformational as we submit our heart and mind to God’s Word.
Week 1 – Nov. 8-12
Three Questions for Consideration
With every biblical passage there is much for the reader to consider—things like cultural context, the people involved, the location, and the message that’s being communicated.
All of these things should be considered before we move to personal application of the biblical truth presented in the text. Once we have considered these foundational aspects of a biblical passage, that’s when we can move to personal application.
One helpful way to allow the truth of Scripture to mold and shape our lives is to consider the following questions as we seek personal application:
UP: What does this communicate about the character of God?
IN: How does this encourage me to live in relationship with the Family of God?
OUT: How does this influence me to intentionally live on mission and reach others with the Gospel?
