Did you know that there are 67 different types of blended families? There is truth when they say families come in all different shapes and sizes! The weekend retreat, Your House…God’s Design, is designed specifically to provide couples with tools to strengthen their blended families. If you are a spouse in a blended family then you face unique challenges. Harry and Cristina Broomfield, both Psychologists and Marriage Therapists for over 2 decades, have personally faced similar challenges in their own blended family. You will learn from both their professional and personal experiences as they share what works, what doesn’t work, and what God’s Word says about it all. The retreat is best suited for couples with children living at home. Check-in 4:00-6:00pm Friday, and check-out noon on Sunday.
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.

About The Lodge
The Lodge is just under 2 hours north east of Troy, situated on 40 wooded acres, and just 1/8 mile off the shore line of Lake Huron in Deckerville, MI.
Built in 1997, this 13,500 square foot log home, was originally designed as a private residence. Newly renovated, it now has 12 bedrooms, 12 1/2 baths and multiple fireplaces.
It’s our desire to use this beautiful lodge as the place where marriages can be strengthened, leaders can be developed, and pastors can be equipped.
