(Mission trip opportunity for current seniors)

Woodside began building an orphanage in Chiang Rai, Thailand in 2007 offering children from the Akha Hill Tribes a safe place to live. As a result, the Akha Light Foundation was formed with the orphanage currently housing about 65 children. Woodside has partnered with Pastor Akha John through the years providing Medical and Dental Clinics, Vacation Bible School, Distributing Food and Eyeglasses with the goal of reaching the Akha Tribes of Thailand for Jesus Christ. We are looking forward to serving in Thailand and partnering with Pastor Akha John assisting in various work projects, kids camp and sharing the love of Christ with the Akha Tribes.
