About This Partnership
Kiev, Ukraine | Church Planting
Woodside has developed a partnership with Kiev Theological Seminary, where students receive financial support for four years after they graduate. This helps them to focus on developing their ministry and building a sustainable local church.
Meet the Team
In November 2000, Andy & Holly moved to Kyiv, Ukraine and entered SEND’s Russian language program. Upon completion of language study, Andy began a teaching and discipleship ministry at Kyiv Theological Seminary, training church leaders and church planters for Ukraine and the former Soviet Union. He is the Director of the seminary's Pastoral Leadership Program, where he is privileged to oversee dozens of men in their studies. God is at work in Ukraine, and Andy & Holly love being a part of training the next generation of workers and helping with church-planting efforts in Ukraine and beyond.
“We are here in obedience to Christ and it is a privilege to be a part of His work in Eurasia, as He calls men to Himself.” The blood of Jesus “purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” (Rev. 5:9)
Andy & Holly attend Revival Church in Kyiv and assist the growing body there, where Andy maintains a regular preaching ministry. Holly’s primary role is in the home with their three kids. She also serves in women’s ministry and teaching English as outreach. They have three children: Abigail, Andrew Robert and Noah.
