Kids & Students Reopening Plans
Phase 1: Woodside At Home
  • Worship Gatherings:
    Online services allow worship at home with family or roommates.
  • Groups
    Groups meet digitally on Zoom or a similar platform.
  • Buildings
    Woodside buildings are closed.
  • Short-Term Mission Trips:
    All Trips are suspended.
Phase 2: Woodside Together
  • Worship Gatherings:
    Family, friends, or Group members gather in homes to worship with up to 10 people while follwing health and safety guidelines.*
  • Groups
    Meet in person and/or digitally. Up to 10 people if in person while following health and safety guidelines.*
  • Buildings
    Woodside buildings begin to reopen to staff.
  • Short-Term Mission Trips:
    All trips are suspended.
* Guidelines include, sanitizing, hand washing, and remaining six feet apart. Facemasks are encouraged, but left at the discretion of the host.
Phase 3: Woodside On Campus
  • Worship Gatherings:
    In-person gatherings resume at up to 33% capacity, while online services remain available. Campuses practice health and safety guidelines including social distancing in the worship center, closing the lobby, and rigorously sanitizing the facility.
    Each campus may have varying guidelines based on their unique facility.
    Kids and Students gatherings are not available.
  • Groups
    Meet in person and/or digitally. Up to 10 people if in person while following health and safety guidelines.*
  • Buildings
    Limited on-campus activities resume for the public while following health and safety guidelines.*
    When entering and exiting the worship center, worshippers across all Woodside campuses are required to wear a face covering. During the worship service, face coverings are optional.
    Face coverings don’t need to be worn by:
    • Children younger than five years old, though children two years old and older are encouraged to wear a face covering
    • People who cannot medically tolerate a face covering
    • Woodside’s sign language interpreters
    • Our worship team and pastors while on stage
  • Short-Term Mission Trips:
    All trips are suspended.

Phase 4: Woodside Going Forward
  • Worship Gatherings:
    In-person worship gatherings continue with relaxed social distancing guidelines, while online sercives remain available.
    Kids and Students gatherings resume with potential alterations.
  • Groups
    Meet in person without the need for social distancing guidelines.
  • Buildings
    On-campus activities resume for the public with relaxed social distancing guidelines.
  • Short-Term Mission Trips:
    Planning of trips resumes based on CDC and State Department guidelines.
