Royal Oak

New Here?

What to Expect

We are a come as you are kind of church family, open to any and all. We are a church family of all ages and stages, ethnicities and backgrounds. Our desire is that everyone feels welcome here and would experience warm hospitality, an inspiring, encouraging and practical message directly from the Word of God, great worship with a community of people who love Jesus and simple ways for you to connect and take your next step of faith.

What to Wear

Come in your jeans and tennis shoes or wear a suit if that is what you are comfortable in. We are not about what you wear, we are here to help you learn what it means to belong to Jesus, grow in your relationship with him and reach the world with His life-changing message.

Arriving

Our church is located at 3620 Rochester Road, Royal Oak.  There is parking available behind the building off of Woodlawn Avenue.  There is also street parking available in the surrounding neighborhoods.

If you have kids, you will want to enter in the doors to your right as you walk up to the main church entrance.  This will lead you directly to the kids’ check-in and you will be directed to the appropriate classroom for your child’s age.

If you don’t have kids, come right in the main doors.  There is coffee and tea available in the lobby, and you are more than welcome to bring your drink into the service with you.

Services

We have three services; Sundays at 9, 10:30 and noon.  All three of the services are the same and have childcare provided. Our services last one hour. We start on time, so make your way into the Worship Center once you have arrived, dropped off your children, and gotten your cup of coffee or tea.

Teaching

It is intentional that Bible is in our name because we are passionate about communicating what God’s word says and teaching people how to apply it to their lives. Our weekend messages will be taught directly from the Bible. We teach from the English Standard Version Bible translation. If you don’t have a Bible, no worries, you can ask for one at the Information Desk.  You are welcome to take one home with you. Don’t worry, we encourage it!

Getting More Information

Please stop by our Information Desk and one of our helpful, friendly team members will be able to answer any questions you may have. We would love to meet you!  There are also Communication Cards in the bulletin and we invite you to fill it out and drop it in the offering plate during services or bring it to our information desk in the lobby.  These Communication cards are a great first step in getting connected, learning your next step and receiving any prayer you might need.
