Today was culture day for our team! We got to discover and spend time in community within the city of Old San Juan, visit the beaches, and travel to the rainforest which we got to see hundreds of miles of God’s beautiful creation. He has been so good throughout this time, as we remembered that nothing else in this world will do because we just want Him to be a part of our lives.
During devotionals, we spent time reflecting as to what God has done to shift our personal lives. We found new hope, patience, more ways to walk with the Lord, and ways to reset and breathe. We also prepped ourselves for our time as we come back to the States, to share with our families and the Woodside Bible community. And when the enemy is ready to attack, we are all reminded that the God of the world has shaped us, and made us whole, and is ready to fight with us if we get ourselves in the mindset of knowing that God has us, there is nothing that rivals His powerful and Holy name.
Being purposefully aware of our mission, praying and meditating on God’s word, will change our hearts forever. As we looked beyond our trip, we are striving to be intentional and prepared for opposition, and ready for what is going ahead of us.
1 Corinthians [10:12]-14 “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing, he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it.” “
