Today started out with a 30-minute bus ride to Katete Victory Church where we were greeted with hugs by many...
The Lord’s Day
Today, we had the opportunity to attend one of the local churches called, the Roma Baptist Church. This English-speaking church has many diverse attendees such as Americans, Italians, Africans, Latinos, Phillipinos, and Ukrainians. It was a beautiful picture of the body of Christ, seeing all these different cultures worshiping our Lord together. The service was great and the gospel message spoken today was powerful. After that, we went to see where Paul was imprisoned and saw the place where he wrote the book of 2 Timothy. What a legacy for the gospel that Paul left behind! And now, here we are carrying on that same message that Paul spoke centuries later. It was a great, inspiring start to our trip and we are excited to see how God will move.
