We are finalizing the last minute touches of our soon-to-be India mission trip on Thursday, Oct. 18. God has already...
The Journey Begins
Well, we are officially off and beginning this incredible journey. Long months of preparation, prayers and loving support have helped us reach this point. The ten of us will be meeting our group leader, Victor, his wife, Sajel, and their two beautiful daughters in Uganda on May 5th. This God centered family will be leading us in ministry and guiding us in creating incredible relationships with the people of Uganda. For many of us, this is our first time joining a mission group. However, the Lord has found amazing ways to bring us together as a family, and we all could not be more excited to step forth and walk this journey together. Our small group of ten people will be leaving the airport with 20 suitcases, 10 of which contain our personal items, such as clothes and hygiene products. The other 10, however, are filled to their maximum capacity with supplies that we will be leaving in Uganda. The children will have soccer balls to play with and the little girls will receive new dresses. Those are just a couple of things we will be leaving with them. Not only does God plan to work through us in helping them, but he plans to work through the people of Uganda to help us. The most important thing we will be leaving Uganda with is friendships, relationships and a stronger connection to the Lord. As we move through the next ten days we ask for you all to continue pouring out your support by praying for our team and the many lives we will witness through God’s work. Our team is blessed to have an incredible support system to leave and come home to in the United States. We know that you are not only praying for and supporting us, but for all the people in Uganda who need our love and support as well.
“I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Whom shall I send, who will go for us? Then I said, here am I! Send me.” -Isaiah 6:8
God will guide your footsteps if you are willing to move your feet.
