Elijah and the Widow
1 Kings 17:7-16

God does not let the flour and oil run out for Elijah the widow, and her son.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.”

Psalm 107:1, NIV

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, say: "Good morning, [child's name]! Raise your hand if God made you!" (Raise your hand)
 

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your child what their favorite foods are. Each time they name one, say, "God is good!"

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, thank You for the food we eat. Thank You for...(name different foods). You are good!"
 

Bath Time

Add toy food items to bath time. As your child plays, ask them what their favorite foods are. Talk about how we can thank God for food.
