ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, say: "Good morning, [child's name]! I was thinking about how God made you to be a good friend. Being a good friend is a great way to help others."

Drive Time

While on the go, name helper qualities you see in your child (kindness, strength, generosity, etc.) and how they can use them to help others (encourage a sad person, carry something for someone, share with a person who has a need, etc.).

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, thank You for the ability to [name things your child is good at]. I pray [name of child] and I will use our abilities to help others."

Bath Time

Sing the following words to the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know It": "God made me to help in different ways. (clap, clap) God made me to help in different ways. (cIap, clap) I can share. I can clean. I can pray, and I can sing. God made me to help in different ways." (clap, clap)
