What are you looking forward to in the new year?

"A child will be born to us. A son will be given to us. He will rule over us. And he will be called Wonderful Adviser and Mighty God. He will also be called Father Who Lives Forever and Prince Who Brings Peace."

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, give them an example of why you think they are one of the best gifts you’ve ever been given.
 

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “What is something from the way we celebrate Christmas that you wish we did all year long?” (Left tree or Christmas lights up, eat a favorite meal more than once a year, etc.)

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “What are you looking forward to in the new year?”
 

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “God, thank You that you are at work every single day of the year. And we can live our lives following You, following Your example, and talking to You all year long.”
