At the Dream Centers of Michigan, our mission is to engage people in need with the love of Christ, partnering with them to flourish, reach their potential, and move toward self-sustainability. With Jesus at the center, we’re committed to empowering the Pontiac community in three key ways: education, economic empowerment, and environments.
Our K-5 After School Program consists of two things: tutoring and tennis! Through partnership with Beyond Basics, students pursue grade-level literacy, a skill that sets them on the path to self-sustainability. We’re also privileged to partner with Bloomfield Tennis & Fitness Club to show our students the value of healthy living, personal discipline, and fun!
Our Workforce Development services, equip members of the community to enter and thrive in the workforce. Through our Social Enterprise program, we provide an on-site workplace and critical wraparound services such as childcare that empower participants to secure stable, living-wage employment. By the support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, these men and women are tapping into their God-given potential!
Our Residential Program is designed for young men, ages 18-24, to pursue life transformation. In a Christ-focused home, these men pursue higher education, vocational training, or living wage employment. Through your generosity, every participant receives a home, food, wellness benefits, and mentorship during their 12-month journey to a self-sustained lifestyle.
