You're Looking For Jesus
For more than 70 years, Woodside has been a church dedicated to helping people see Jesus. Across our region and around the world, we’re seeing God move in ways we can’t afford to miss. In this generational moment, we want people to know that they’re looking for Jesus and He’s closer than they think.

Goal #1
100% Engagement
We’re praying that 100% of Woodsiders would be mobilized to help people see Jesus during this campaign. This looks like every Woodsider praying for people who don’t know Jesus and telling their neighbors, networks, and the nations about what He’s done in their lives.
Goal #2
Expanded Generosity
As our church family grows, our budget needs to grow with it. We’re praying that God will use this season to double our Gospel impact over the next decade by funding new campuses, global missions partners, and outreach in our own communities.
We’re asking every Woodsider to give something, give consistently, and grow in generosity over time. Together, that expanded generosity sets the stage for the next chapter of what God is doing through Woodside.
Take a moment to prayerfully consider what this next chapter could look like for you and your family.
Campus Expansion
Our care for existing buildings and grounds communicates care for the people who walk through our doors. That’s why 80% of our expanded giving will be invested to improve current Woodside campuses and plant new ones.

Pray. Tell. Give.
Pray
Write down the names of people in your life who need to see Jesus. Pray for them daily, and look for chances to share your story with them.
Tell
Share what Jesus has done in your life: what it was like before Him, how you came to see Him, and what your life looks like now that your eyes are open.
Give
Give generously toward what God is doing at Woodside. Start by giving something. Give it consistently. Then grow in your generosity.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is The See Jesus Campaign
The See Jesus Campaign is a two-year missional campaign with a stewardship component. We’re mobilizing every Woodsider to help people see Jesus by praying, telling and giving.
I'm new here, or I'm not sure what I believe. Is this campaign for me?
Yes. If you’re curious or searching for answers, we want you to know that you’re looking for Jesus, and He’s closer than you think!
Why is Woodside doing this now? What changed?
Our in-person attendance is the highest it’s been since before COVID. Baptisms are on pace to be the highest in our history. Nationally, research groups like Barna have reported that 30 million more Americans are following Jesus than four years ago. There’s a revival happening, and we don’t want to miss it.
What are the two goals of the campaign?
Goal #1 is 100% engagement. We want every Woodsider equipped to share Jesus with their neighbors, networks, and the nations. Goal #2 is expanded generosity. We’re praying to double our impact over the next decade as our church family continues to grow.
How much money is Woodside trying to raise? What is it funding?
As our church family grows, our budget needs to grow with it. Over the next two years, we’re asking God to help us raise $80 million.
$50 million of that total will sustain our normal operating budget, and $30 million in expanded giving will be invested in our campuses, global missions work, and outreach initiatives.
What is a one-fund campaign?
A one-fund campaign means that every financial gift made (regular and expanded giving) will flow into a single, unified fund that supports a specific vision for a period of time. This differs from a multi-fund approach (members give to a general fund, then give more to individual projects or ministries).
What are the Advantages to a one-fund approach?
1. It simplifies the giving process and the messaging behind it. Woodsiders can support their campuses, global missions, and local outreach efforts through one fund rather than many.
2. The goal of a one-fund is 100% participation from Woodsiders, which means that every gift counts. This includes the generosity of those who may not have the means to expand their giving.
What accountability measures has Woodside put in place around the financial aspects of the campaign?
Wise financial stewardship is very important to us. A lay finance committee and more than 50 lay elders are responsible for the management and stewardship of all donations at Woodside. An external firm conducts an annual audit on our financial operations, and Woodside has received exemplary grades year after year.
What funding stays separate?
Campus Deacon’s/Benevolence Funds and financing for short-term missions teams will continue to be accounted for separately. These funds will not be included in tracking efforts surrounding the second goal of the campaign.
When will Woodside begin tracking campaign funds?
Woodside will officially begin tracking campaign funds on November 22, 2026. Campaign tracking will end on December 31, 2028.
How will large campaign gifts be handled?
Large gifts specifically designated for See Jesus will be set aside to kickstart the campaign. These amounts will be announced on November 22. The current starting threshold for a large gift is $100,000 and above, though the accounting treatment for any larger gift designated for the campaign will be evaluated individually.
How do I give stocks or mutual funds?
When you give appreciated securities to Woodside Bible Church, you’re leveraging your tax benefits for Kingdom development. Donors may deduct the fair market value of the securities while avoiding tax on the appreciated gain. In short, donors may claim both the security and its appreciation as a charitable contribution income tax deduction without incurring a capital gains tax.
The deduction is based on the fair market value of the securities on the date they are owned by the church (typically, this is the date the securities are deposited into the church’s brokerage account). Woodside’s policy is to immediately sell the securities received and then use the net proceeds for the designated charitable purpose of the gift.
For further instructions on how to give through stocks, bonds and other marketable securities, email giving@woodsidebible.org or call (248) 879-8533.
What's Advance Commitment Night?
