  • The life of faith is meant to be lived in community. A relationship with God is personal, but not private. Jesus came to gather a people for his glory, not to call individuals to individualistic lifestyles. Central to the identity of God’s people is the Sunday gathering. During COVID-19, the first time in our lifetimes that churches could not gather together, online services were a necessary alternative. But they are no substitute for the assembly. This is why so many have asked, “When will we be back in the building?”

When we seek understanding by listening to people of color, we’re able not only to mourn with those who mourn, but to seek justice for the suffering and oppressed. As you take a posture of listening and learning, check out these resources sharing perspectives on racial justice and reconciliation of the black community.

Worship in Groups

In Phase 2 of Woodside’s journey to reopening our in-person worship services, many in our church family are gathering in small groups of people to worship together on Sunday mornings. Check out how you can get involved!

In a season when our Woodside family is unable to meet together to worship, pray, and study the Word as we typically would, we are passionate about encouraging and resourcing you in new and different ways.

Have a Need? Fill a Need.

The Woodside Family is passionate about meeting needs in our community – and we’d love for you to join us! Let us know how we can care for you and help you serve others during this difficult season. “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter [4:10]
