Current Series Blurb

This will be where we pull the series name onto the website.
  • A study of the parables of Jesus found in the gospel of Luke. Parables are a form of indirect communication intended to lead the hearer – sometimes unwittingly – into the truth. Direct communication is great for conveying basic information and facts, but indirect communication finds a way into the back window of our hearts and minds, confronting what one thinks is reality. This is why parables are so powerful. They allow us to see what we wouldn’t otherwise. They are stories with an intent, analogies through which one is able to see truth. In this series, we’ll see how God is going to awaken our insight, stimulate our conscience, and move us to action.

When we seek understanding by listening to people of color, we’re able not only to mourn with those who mourn, but to seek justice for the suffering and oppressed. As you take a posture of listening and learning, check out these resources sharing perspectives on racial justice and reconciliation of the black community.

Worship in Groups

In Phase 2 of Woodside’s journey to reopening our in-person worship services, many in our church family are gathering in small groups of people to worship together on Sunday mornings. Check out how you can get involved!

Watch/Read/Listen

In a season when our Woodside family is unable to meet together to worship, pray, and study the Word as we typically would, we are passionate about encouraging and resourcing you in new and different ways.

Have a Need? Fill a Need.

The Woodside Family is passionate about meeting needs in our community – and we’d love for you to join us! Let us know how we can care for you and help you serve others during this difficult season. “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter [4:10]
