New Generations believes that the key to fulfilling the Great Commission lies in the hands of ordinary people who have been empowered to make disciples within their spheres of influence. This vision hinges on a simple yet powerful principle: everything must be designed to reproduce. Disciples make disciples, churches plant new churches, and leaders mentor the next generation of leaders.
In 2024, a team of West African missionaries prayed for fertile soil to start a church-planting movement in the unreached corners of North Africa. As they covered the land in prayer, they asked God to draw lost hearts to Him, bind the Enemy’s influence, break the spiritual strongholds that separate people from God, and open minds to truth.
In 2025, Woodside and New Generations partnered to send a team of five West African missionaries into North Africa. Their goal was to introduce five unreached North African people groups to Jesus for the first time. The Lord has already provided them with several people of peace—local individuals open to the Gospel—and as a result, multiple Bible studies have already begun!
Shodankeh serves as the Regional Coordinator for Anglophone West & North Africa and as the International Coordinator for New Generation’s Intercessory Prayer Team. His heart is to raise up a generation of missionaries from West Africa that would take the Gospel to the unreached countries in the North.
