Content Writer, Woodside Bible Church – Full Time

The Content Writer leverages their content strategy and management skills to coordinate projects and staff in producing high-quality, on-brand content with maximum audience engagement. Additionally, the Content Writer provides strategic support to the Lead Director of Communications on diverse projects and tasks, serving as a resource for the successful organization and execution of initiatives. This role is full-time, exempt and will report to the Communications Lead Director.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. This Content Writer must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize workflow; works well under pressure and with minimal supervision. The right candidate must exhibit superior writing ability and knowledge of English usage, grammar, punctuation, and spelling and demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

The Content Writer will maintain editorial sensibilities with the ability to proactively prioritize, manage, and complete projects within time constraints and with strong attention to detail. The role will also create and publish compelling content for optimal user experience and engagement while upholding brand identity and voice across various content types and mediums while being able to lead, develop, and coordinate others, building consensus and driving collaboration towards shared goals.

Maintenance Technician, Woodside Troy – Full Time

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Central Facilities Director. This role will execute the daily repair and maintenance work orders, and carpentry build projects. Depending on role assignment and specialty experience, may be assigned to handle HVAC and electrical.

This role must have five years’ experience in general building maintenance, carpentry, and equipment repair desired. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred. The Maintenance Technician must have knowledge of and experience in properties and plant management/maintenance, as well as experience in managing, delegating, and coordinating projects.

Campus Pastor & Regional Hub Pastor, Woodside Royal Oak – Full Time

The Royal Oak Campus Pastor & Regional Hub Pastor fulfills all the duties of a Campus Pastor who is responsible to lead the overall ministry of a Woodside Bible Church campus, while also serving as the direct report leader and peer mentor of one or more other Woodside campuses. As the Campus Pastor, this position oversees, directs and develops the campus staff and sets the leadership culture that would further the purpose, mission, values and strategies of Woodside Bible Church. As the Regional Hub Pastor, this position supports the Senior Executive Pastor of Campuses by offering direct oversight, accountability, support, strategic thought leadership and development of the other campus pastors assigned to the Regional Hub. This position is a full-time, exempt position.

Candidates must meet leadership qualifications as outlined in the Woodside Bible Church bylaws, possesses as a minimum a bachelor’s degree from an approved theological seminary or institution. An earned master’s degree in divinity, theology or leadership is preferred. The Regional Hub Pastor must possess a minimum of three years prior pastoral development and ministry experience.

Collective Young Adults Director, Woodside Troy – Full Time

The role of the Collective Young Adults Director role is primarily to build relationships with young adults in the metro-Detroit area both currently attending Collective and not attending Collective. This role is full-time, exempt and will report to the Collective Young Adults Lead Director.

This position requires an Associate’s degree, a Bachelor’s is preferred, as well as a minimum of two years in a ministry role. The ideal candidate would need to be social and relationally strong, able to build volunteer teams, and proficient in social media site and Ministry Platform. This role would require being comfortable with leading out offsite events, mentoring individuals, manage life groups and leaders, and teaching on Sunday nights. This individual should be driven by a desire to see the gospel reach young adults in the metro-Detroit area.

Pastor/Director of Family Ministries, Woodside Farmington Hills – Full Time

The Pastor/Director of Family Ministries is directly responsible for the leading and shepherding of the families (kids, students, and parents) at the Farmington Hills Campus of Woodside Bible Church. This position is Full-Time, Exempt and will report to the Farmington Hills Campus Pastor.

Bachelor’s degree is required. This position must demonstrate an understanding of student ministry Christian education within the local church. The Pastor/Director of Family Ministries is directly responsible for the leading and shepherding of the families (kids, students, and parents) at the Farmington Hills Campus of Woodside Bible Church. This position oversees both the kid’s ministry (Woodside Kids) as well as the middle school (Oasis) and high school (Wake) ministries for the campus. He or she also seeks to equip and partner with parents to lead their children spiritually. The Pastor/Director of Family Ministries should demonstrate a strong devotion to Christ and to Christ-like character. They should have a strong ability and experience with equipping leaders and working with teams. Good, biblical teaching ability and communication skills are important, as well as strong vision, organizational and shepherding skills. They must have the ability to work closely with other ministry staff, elders, and ministry leaders to see that our objectives are accomplished, along with the ability to relate to students, kids, and parents.

Social Enterprise Coordinator, Dream Centers of Michigan – Part-Time

The Social Enterprise Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing and executing a continuum of care and individual development plans for all Dream Center social enterprise employees and cultivating a culture of empowerment, well-being, inclusion, equity, and partnership. This role is part-time, exempt and will report to the Economic Empowerment Director.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree. A qualified candidate would possess a demonstrated ability to navigate the procedures and protocols of government assistance, have prior experience working or living in an under-resourced community, have an understanding of trauma and behavioural wellness, and an ability to execute individual development plans. This role will coach and assist in the construction of Individual Development Plans, facilitate to remove barriers and provide resources for community members, coordinate and educate volunteers, and cultivate a culture of well-being, inclusion, equity, partnership, and Christ-centeredness.

Bridges Café Director, Woodside Troy – Part-time

The Bridges Café Director is responsible for all aspects of the Bridges Coffee Ministry at the Troy Campus. This role is part-time (22 hours a week), non-exempt and will report to the Assimilation and Outreach Pastor.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Coffee Ministry and coffee product experience as well as Christian managerial and leadership experience with volunteers and public is preferred. This position will require financial and budgeting skills.

The Bridges Café Director organizes, schedules volunteers, and coaches weekly Bridges café events. This role will also propose the yearly budget based on revenue and expenses to the Finance department and oversees the approved budget. This role will manage menus, maintenance and equipment, and will maintain State of Michigan and Oakland County Health Department (OCHD) Food Service license and regulations, Retail Tax License for Woodside Bible Church kitchen and café, and displays licenses.

Campus Administrative Assistant, Woodside Detroit – Part-Time

The primary responsibility of the Campus Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative support to the Campus Pastor with a primary focus on campus related activities and secondarily on any other related activities. This role is part-time (25 hours), non-exempt and will report to Detroit Campus Pastor.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, some college preparatory work is desired. A minimum of 2 Years of administrative experience is preferred. The Campus Administrative Assistant will assist the Campus Pastor with administrative duties, keep the Campus Pastor and campus calendars up to date, as well as answer phones, and handles, and distribute all general and interoffice mail. This role is responsible to manage the Ministry Platform database with all campus attendance, membership, baptismal, marriages, births, deaths, ministry activities, rosters for groups, and personal information changes. This role will also update the Sunday and E-Bulletins with all current campus ministry information, assist with planning/coordination of special events and banquets on campus, and other duties as assigned.

Campus Ministries Administrative Assistant, Woodside Lake Orion – Part-Time

The role of the Campus Ministries Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative and clerical support for the Campus Ministries departments through the direction of the Executive Pastor of Campus Ministries and the respective Ministry Directors. This role is part-time (20 hours), non-exempt and will report to the Executive Pastor of Campus Ministries.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will also require a minimum of 2 years in an administrative role, and a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms. This role will assist the Ministry Directors in effectively carrying out administrative and clerical needs for their respective areas, oversee and coordinate registration for events, retreats, classes, trips, etc. for the various departments.
