Director of Adult Ministries, Woodside Bible Church – Full Time

The Director of Adult Ministries is primarily responsible for the spiritual formation of adults at Woodside Bible Church, Troy Campus. Major responsibilities include coordinating/leading Bible studies and events, working with the Adult Ministries team to strengthen Life Groups, and mentoring/discipling adults. This person will also serve to strengthen the church by training and equipping lay leadership teams that will help the adults of Woodside Bible Church help others Belong to Christ, Grow in Christ, and Reach the world for Christ. The Adult Ministries Director is under the leadership of the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor of the Troy campus, and directly reporting to the Pastor of Adult Ministries and Spiritual Formation, the Director of Adult Ministries is primarily responsible for the spiritual formation of adults at Woodside Bible Church, Troy Campus.

Bachelor’s degree with a bible college/seminary degree from a theologically conservative institution is preferred. Ministry experience is very helpful with the preferred candidate having 3-5 years of experience. The role will work well corporately and independently, have the ability to provide leadership and guidance for multiple ministries, and must be a builder of cooperative teams by working with Woodside Bible Church staff and volunteers. The best candidate must have the capacity to plan, supervise, delegate, implement and evaluate ministries, take initiative, be an effective communicator, the ability to multi-task large initiatives while understanding the support systems needed to complete the task at hand. This role must be Biblically rooted and theologically literate.

Campus Pastor, Woodside Chesterfield – Full Time

The Campus Pastor for Chesterfield is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Regional Hub Pastor. This Campus Pastor is responsible for the overall preparation and presentation of Woodside Bible Church, Chesterfield Campus. This position oversees, directs, and develops campus staff, as well as sets the leadership tone that creates an open community for those seeking “a church experience.”

This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an approved theological seminary, a Master’s degree preferred, three (3) to five (5) years of prior experience and pastoral developmental path demonstrated, and must meet leadership qualifications as outlined in the Woodside Bible Church bylaws. The Campus Pastor will ensure that all actions performed within the context of this job position accomplishes and furthers the mission, vision, and values of Woodside Bible Church (Belong, Grow, Reach), adheres to the Statement of Faith as established and approved by Woodside Bible Church, is committed to being a faithful member in good standing and involved in all five commitments within Woodside Bible Church; Worship, Give, Serve, Word/Prayer and Groups.

Production Systems Manager, Woodside Troy – Full Time

The Production Systems Manager is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Troy Production Director. The Production Systems Manager is responsible for maintaining all systems connected to the Troy Worship Arts Center. This role partners with the Troy production staff to provide system preparation and training. Event support in a production discipline (i.e., stage managing, audio, video/lighting) at least once per month, always with the goal of training and development.

This role must have must have exceptional technical trouble shooting skills, with the ability to solve technical problems quickly in high pressure deadline situations and be energized by learning new skills and emerging technologies. The Production Systems Manager be able to build unity among staff and volunteers and the ability to accomplish assigned projects collaboratively with other ministry staff, utilizing highly developed communication (written and verbal), project, and time management. The Live Visual Arts Manager will be able to perform high quality, detailed work with minimum supervision within assigned deadlines, be teachable and flexible, and have high-level relational skills.

Facilities Assistant Director, Woodside Bible Church – Full Time

The Facilities Assistant Director is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Central Facilities Director. This role will assist the Director of Facilities and the Executive Director of Operations in the managing of all Woodside Bible Church facilities, focusing on the areas of custodial, building, maintenance, and transportation.

This role must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing, delegating, and coordinating operations on a large scale. Graduate of a technical school or bachelor’s degree desired. The Facilities Assistant Director must have knowledge of and experience in properties, plant management, and maintenance, excellent personal communication skills. The Facilities Assistant Director must also have the ability to multi-task in pressure situations, a broad knowledge of, and experience in, facilities repair and maintenance such as: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

Student Ministries Director, Woodside Pontiac – Part-Time

The Student Ministries Director is a part-time, exempt position reporting to the Campus Pastor of the Pontiac Campus. The Student Ministries Director is responsible for all aspects of student ministry grades 6-12, assisting in leading and implementing the Student Ministries of Woodside Bible Church, Pontiac Campus, to accomplish the overall vision and purposes of Woodside Bible Church.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required. This role will demonstrate an understanding of student ministry, and Christian education within the local church. The Student Ministry Director will demonstrate the ability to relate to and work under direction and vision of the executive leadership of Woodside Bible Church and with the Woodside Students team from all campuses, have the ability to develop and adapt to the changing needs of the ministry as it grows, and be competent in recruiting, motivating and equipping adult and student leaders, teachers, and parents.

Stewardship Administrative Assistant, Woodside Bible Church – Part-Time

The Stewardship Administrative Assistant is responsible for the coordination of administrative activities in support of Central Stewardship. Administrative responsibilities include assisting the Executive Pastor of Stewardship and the department.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. The Stewardship Administrative Assistant should be self-motivated and systematic, working well corporately and independently. They will be careful to maintain confidentiality with respect to records, conversations, and sensitive information. This role must be detail-oriented, meticulous in record keeping, and diligent in following up with unresolved matters.

Assistant Director for Kids’ Ministry, Woodside Lake Orion – Part-Time

The Assistant Director of Kids Ministry is a part-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Kids Ministry at our Lake Orion Campus. This role is meant to establish a quality Kids Ministry program and environment, a Kids volunteer leader development program, as well as an effective parent support & resource system. The ideal candidate is proficient in establishing and managing systems & processes, but is also relationally capable in interacting with kids, parents, and volunteers. The candidate should be known as an implementor and should be capable of collaborating well with other individuals.

A Bachelors’ degree is preferred, as well as a minimum of 1 year of experience in working with Kids Ministry in a paid capacity. This leader must be motivated to build and maintain healthy volunteer teams and see the church effectively partner with parents to raise godly families alongside the Kids Ministry Director.

Student Ministries Director, Woodside Lapeer – Part-Time

The Student Ministries Director is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Campus Pastor of the Lapeer Campus. The Student Ministries Director is directly responsible for all aspects of student ministry grades 6-12, assisting in leading and implementing the Student Ministries of Woodside Bible Church, Lapeer Campus, to accomplish the overall vision and purposes of Woodside Bible Church.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required as well as demonstrating an understanding Christian education for Student Ministry within the local church. This role develops relationships with students, leaders, parents, and the church as a family and the surrounding community, recruits, trains, mentors, and appreciates volunteer leaders, and grows the Student Ministries through teaching the gospel, outreach events, and helping outsiders connect with our church.

Maintenance Technician, Woodside Bible Church – Part Time

The Maintenance Technician is a Part-Time, hourly position (29 hours per week) reporting to the Central Facilities Director. This role will execute the daily repair and maintenance work orders, and carpentry build projects. Depending on role assignment and speciality experience, may be assigned to handle HVAC and electrical.

This role must have five years’ experience in general building maintenance, carpentry, and equipment repair desired. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred. The Maintenance Technician must have knowledge of and experience in properties and plant management/maintenance, as well as experience in managing, delegating, and coordinating projects.
