East Lansing Campus Pastor, Woodside Bible Church – Full Time

The East Lansing Campus Pastor is responsible for the overall preparation and presentation of one or more physical locations of Woodside Bible Church. This position oversees, directs, and develops campus staff as well as sets the leadership tone that creates an open community for those seeking “a church experience.” The Campus Pastor is charged with leading the campus to accomplish the Woodside mission statement, and reports to a Regional Hub Pastor. This role is full-time and exempt.

The East Lansing Campus Pastor must meet leadership qualifications as outlined in the Woodside Bible Church bylaws. Bachelor’s degree from an approved theological seminary required, Master’s degree preferred, as well as three (3) to five (5) years of prior experience and pastoral developmental path demonstrated. This role must demonstrate a passion for people, posses effective discipleship, leadership, administrative and equipping skills, and have the ability to set the leadership tone that creates an open community feeling for those seeking a “church experience.”

The East Lansing Campus Pastor will be responsible to oversee overall assimilation process of visitors into the life of the church that focuses on our five core commitments of worship, life groups, serve, give, and classes. The East Lansing Campus Pastor will oversee campus budget, supervise and direct office staff, custodial services, and all core ministry staff (kids, students, adults, life groups, worship, assimilation, outreach, etc.) This role will serve as the primary teacher for the campus, while also developing and leading other preachers and teachers from the campus, lay leadership (elders, deacons, deaconesses), and the campus staff and key volunteers. Missions Project Coordinator, Woodside Bible Church – Full Time

The Missions Project Coordinator is a member of Woodside’s Global and Local Missions Team and serves under the direction of the Executive Pastor of Missions. The role is designed to support the vision, mission, and purpose of Woodside by helping to implement Woodside’s local and global programs consisting of local serving events, missionary care and support, global partnerships, and program management. This role is full-time, exempt and will report to the Executive Pastor of Missions.

The Missions Project Coordinator must meet leadership qualifications stated in the Woodside Bible Church bylaws and be experienced in the leadership of others to accomplish a common purpose, have at least three (3) years of organizational management experience in various areas of ministry within a church or global missions organization, and must be experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Publisher, Excel, and Power-Point). The preferred candidate will have the ability to become proficient with software such as GoMethod and Ministry Platform. It is very important to the role that the Missions Project Coordinator has the ability to plan and manage details of various projects at the same time.

The Missions Project Coordinator will oversee the coordination of Woodside’s local and global mission’s activities in order to mobilize and encourage the spiritual engagement of the church family with the community and the world. This role will coordinate the planning and execution of processes for Woodside’s events and activities including internal and external communication, finances, volunteer management, and facility coordination, as well as collect and document the results and statistics (people serving, churches started, short-term mission trip participants, etc.) for Woodside’s local and global outreach programs. The preferred candidate will be able to build collaboration by developing strong professional relationships with campus staff, volunteers, and partners to provide clear communication for all of Woodside’s missions activities and programs.

Worship and Discipleship Pastor, Woodside Plymouth – Full Time

The Worship and Discipleship Pastor is a supporting pastor to the Plymouth Campus, leading in strategic areas of Worship gatherings and Life Group development and multiplication. They will be a ministry generalist able to lead leaders and oversee various elements of the overall ministry of Woodside Bible Church in support of the Lead Campus Pastor. The Worship and Discipleship Pastor is full-time, exempt and will report to the Plymouth Campus Pastor.

A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree from an accredited evangelical seminary is preferred. Musical proficiency in guitar and/or piano/keyboard instruments and expertise in vocal leadership (singing) and competency to instruct and lead other instrumentalists is required. The preferred candidate will be comfortable in leading worship bands with excellence in a small/medium church-size setting and competent general Bible knowledge, specifically in spiritual leadership, demonstrating the application of the gospel to daily life.

The Worship and Discipleship Pastor plans, recruits, trains, and equips competent volunteers for the worship, audio, tech and lighting teams, as well as conduct weekly rehearsals for our worship teams, which includes all tech/audio/lighting volunteers. This role will plan worship services in conjunction with the Campus Pastor, being teachable to leadership direction. The Worship and Discipleship Pastor will cast vision to Life Group leaders for discipleship, developing a spiritual family and for multiplication. This role will give guidance for group development and multiplication, host trainings for all Life Group leaders and provide regular training resources to Life Group leaders. This role will also support the Lead Campus Pastor in other responsibilities and initiatives as identified.

Romeo Worship Director, Woodside Romeo – Full Time

The Romeo Worship Director and Hub team member serves as a member of Romeo campus staff and is under the direction and leadership of the Campus Pastor. Their role is to ensure that all non-speaking worship elements of all Sunday morning services are prepared, staffed and completed with excellence. The Worship Director equips and oversees the people who assist in those elements professionally and spiritually throughout the church’s ministries (i.e., Contemporary, Young Adults, Kids, Students) where applicable. This role is full-time, exempt and will report to the Romeo Campus Pastor.

A Bachelor’s degree is recommended, with 2+ years’ experience working in Worship Ministry. The ideal candidate will have good character and reputation, with a commitment to spiritual health and is comfortable leading worship bands (traditional and/or contemporary) with excellence in a medium-large church setting. The Worship Director must also be motivated to build and maintain healthy volunteer teams and see the church grow in their worship to God.

This role will lead the Worship Ministry to instill in families a deep love for Jesus and his church, through music as well as relationships on and off the stage. The Worship Director will also recruit, coach, and retain large volunteer teams throughout the year as well as lead the Worship Ministry under the established vision and strategy, as well as balance and manage multifaceted aspects of ministry responsibilities; relational, program and administrative.

Worship Director, Woodside Farmington Hills – Part-time

The Worship Director, Farmington Hills Campus, provides organizational and spiritual leadership for all weekend worship experiences in order to create environments and experiences that help people from a variety of different ethnic, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds to connect with and glorify God. Their role is to equip and oversee the people who assist in worship ministry professionally and spiritually throughout the church’s ministries where applicable. This role is part-time, exempt and will report to the Farmington Hills Campus Pastor.

A minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent, is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate would have musical proficiency, competency in vocal leadership (singing) and ability to instruct and lead other instrumentalists. There must also be comfortability in leading worship bands with excellence in a small/medium church-size setting. The Worship Director should possess competent general Bible knowledge, specifically in spiritual leadership, and demonstrate application of the gospel to daily life.

The Worship Director will plan, recruit, train, and equip volunteers for the worship teams and tech teams (audio, lighting, video, livestream). This role will attend weekly campus staff meeting, coordinate Worship ministry with the larger ministry of the church, as well lead regular meetings with the Creative team. The role will develop and implement artistic stage/set design and participate in annual informational, refreshing, and thanksgiving meetings with all ministry teams.

Student/Young Adults Technical Director – Full Time

The Student/Young Adults Technical Director ensures that the AVL systems in the young adults and student venues areas are always prepped and ready for services and events. This role works in tandem with Student/Young Adults Worship Arts Director to innovate and improve systems with the goal of fostering creativity and making systems easy to use by volunteers & staff. The Student/Young Adults Technical Director is full-time, exempt and will report to the Production Director.

A Minimum of a high school diploma is preferred. A minimum of 1-year related production experience, preferably in a large church setting, is required. The Student/Young Adults Technical Director must possess competent general Bible knowledge, specifically in spiritual leadership, and demonstrates application of the Gospel to daily life.

This role will maintain and improve the AVL systems as well as recruit, train and equip volunteers utilizing AVL systems in the students/young adults venues. This role will also schedule production volunteers as well as attend the majority Student/Young Adult services to support the AVL volunteer teams, always with the goal of empowering volunteers to own technical execution. The Student/Young Adults Technical Director will provide technical trouble shooting, attend weekly meetings with the campus staff to discuss worship gatherings and as well assist and participate in additional events and “all hands on deck” initiatives of Woodside Bible Church, Troy Campus.
