Campus Pastor & Regional Hub Pastor, Woodside Royal Oak – Full Time

The Royal Oak Campus Pastor & Regional Hub Pastor fulfills all the duties of a Campus Pastor who is responsible to lead the overall ministry of a Woodside Bible Church campus, while also serving as the direct report leader and peer mentor of one or more other Woodside campuses. As the Campus Pastor, this position oversees, directs and develops the campus staff and sets the leadership culture that would further the purpose, mission, values and strategies of Woodside Bible Church. As the Regional Hub Pastor, this position supports the Senior Executive Pastor of Campuses by offering direct oversight, accountability, support, strategic thought leadership and development of the other campus pastors assigned to the Regional Hub. This position is a full-time, exempt position.

Candidates must meet leadership qualifications as outlined in the Woodside Bible Church bylaws, possesses as a minimum a bachelor’s degree from an approved theological seminary or institution. An earned master’s degree in divinity, theology or leadership is preferred. The Regional Hub Pastor must possess a minimum of three years prior pastoral development and ministry experience.

Associate Pastor, Woodside White Lake – Full Time

The White Lake Associate Pastor role will strategize organizationally in conjunction with the Campus Pastor to fulfill the goals and initiatives of the campus ministry. This will include providing pastoral leadership and direction to the staff and key ministry partners who are responsible for the following core ministries: Kids, Students, Outreach, Next Steps, and specified aspects of Adult Discipleship, including Life Groups. This role will assist in ensuring that the practices, policies, systems, and budget items of the campus are done effectively and in alignment with the DNA of Woodside Bible Church. This role is full-time, exempt and will report to the White Lake Campus Pastor.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s degree is preferred in the fields of business, management, finance, or similarly related fields and Biblical Studies/theology/leadership. This position will require at least 5 years of experience as a leader in for profit, not-for-profit, or church environment with direct management of others.

The Associate Pastor role will lead staff direct report leadership meetings and other activities to clarify and execute goals and objectives, and to also coach and assist (when needed) all ministry departments as they build their ministry plans, budgets, and specific campus initiatives.

This role will host services, preaching once/quarter, lead classes, oversee baptism, and integrate newcomers. The Associate Pastor will assist in the overall discipleship and congregational care needs by mentoring staff, and monitoring congregational needs including hospital visitation, counseling, marriages, and funerals.

Facilities Assistant Director, Woodside Bible Church – Full Time

The Facilities Assistant Director is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Central Facilities Director. This role will assist the Director of Facilities and the Executive Director of Operations in the managing of all Woodside Bible Church facilities, focusing on the areas of custodial, building, maintenance, and transportation.

This role must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing, delegating, and coordinating operations on a large scale. Graduate of a technical school or bachelor’s degree desired. The Facilities Assistant Director must have knowledge of and experience in properties, plant management, and maintenance, excellent personal communication skills. The Facilities Assistant Director must also have the ability to multi-task in pressure situations, a broad knowledge of, and experience in, facilities repair and maintenance such as: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

Pastor/Director of Family Ministries, Woodside Farmington Hills – Full Time

The Pastor/Director of Family Ministries is directly responsible for the leading and shepherding of the families (kids, students, and parents) at the Farmington Hills Campus of Woodside Bible Church. This position is Full-Time, Exempt and will report to the Farmington Hills Campus Pastor.

Bachelor’s degree is required. This position must demonstrate an understanding of student ministry Christian education within the local church. The Pastor/Director of Family Ministries is directly responsible for the leading and shepherding of the families (kids, students, and parents) at the Farmington Hills Campus of Woodside Bible Church. This position oversees both the kid’s ministry (Woodside Kids) as well as the middle school (Oasis) and high school (Wake) ministries for the campus. He or she also seeks to equip and partner with parents to lead their children spiritually. The Pastor/Director of Family Ministries should demonstrate a strong devotion to Christ and to Christ-like character. They should have a strong ability and experience with equipping leaders and working with teams. Good, biblical teaching ability and communication skills are important, as well as strong vision, organizational and shepherding skills. They must have the ability to work closely with other ministry staff, elders, and ministry leaders to see that our objectives are accomplished, along with the ability to relate to students, kids, and parents.

Worship Pastor, Woodside Chesterfield – Full Time

The Worship Pastor at the Woodside Chesterfield Campus is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Chesterfield Campus Pastor. This role provides oversight and leadership direction for all weekend worship experiences to create environments and experiences that help people connect with the church and with God.

Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s work is preferred, in areas of biblical studies and music. The Worship Pastor will plan, recruit, train, and equip volunteers for the worship teams, audio teams, tech teams and lighting teams. This role will conduct weekly rehearsals for our worship teams (all Sunday services and young adult gatherings if assigned), which includes all tech/audio volunteers. The role will also work with the Campus Pastor to develop Sunday services and improve program delivery processes to further the mission, vision, and values of Woodside Bible Church (Belong, Grow, Reach).

Troy Student/Young Adult Technical Director, Woodside Troy – Full Time

The role of the Student/Young Adult Technical Director, Troy Campus, is to ensure that the AVL systems in the young adults and student venues areas are always prepped and ready for services and events. This role works in tandem with Student/Young Adults Worship Arts Director to innovate and improve systems with the goal of fostering creativity and making systems easy to use by volunteers & staff. This role is full-time, exempt and will report to the Troy Production Director.

This role requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s is preferred, and a minimum of 1-year related production experience, preferably in a large church setting.

The Student/Young Adult Technical Director will recruit, trains and equips volunteers utilizing AVL systems in the student/young adult venues, schedule production volunteers, and attend the majority Student/Young Adult services to support the AVL volunteer teams, always with the goal of empowering volunteers to own technical execution. The role will maintain and improve the AVL systems, attend weekly meetings with campus staff to discuss worship gatherings, past and future, always seeking to improve the elements of ministry services, and assist and participate in additional events, including but not limited to yearly student and young adult retreats, Hope Week, etc.

Student/Young Adults Worship Director, Woodside Troy – Full Time

The role of the Student/Young Adult Worship Director, Troy Campus, is to oversee and provide leadership for all service elements and special events for Student and Young Adult ministries. This role is full-time, exempt and will report to the Troy Worship Pastor.
This role requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s is preferred, and a high level of musical proficiency. This role will also require an expertise in playing guitar and/or piano and singing, being comfortable in leading worship teams with excellence in a medium-large church setting, and possessing competent general Bible knowledge, specifically in spiritual leadership, and demonstrating application of the Gospel to daily life.
The Student/Young Adult Worship Director plans, recruits, trains, and equips volunteers for the worship team for Student and Young Adult Ministries at the Troy Campus as well as planning worship sets for both spaces in collaboration with Family Ministries Pastor and Young Adults Director. This role will also require conducting weekly rehearsals for worship teams and a proficiency with worship music related software and programs – CCLI, Planning Center, Ableton Live, MainStage, GarageBand, Finale, etc.

Campus Administrative Assistant, Woodside Plymouth – Part-Time

The Campus Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Campus Pastor with a primary focus on Plymouth campus related activities, and secondarily for any other related activities. This role will be part-time, hourly at 29 hours per week.

A high school diploma or GED is required for this role, at least two years administrative experience is preferred. The candidate for the Campus Administrative Assistant must have excellent administrative and strong people skills, strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office and other specialized church management software.

The role will provide administrative assistance to the Campus Pastor, keep the campus calendar up to date to be sure all programming is listed properly, and will manages campus database and recording of metrics, coordinating with Central as needed. The Campus Administrative Assistant manages assimilation process of potential new church members, assists with planning and coordination of special events or banquets on the campus, maintains the campus prayer needs email list, oversees and updates campus social media pages (Facebook, Instagram) in conjunction with Communication calendars and guidelines, and other duties as assigned.

Worship Director, Woodside Detroit – Part-Time

The Worship Director ensures all non-speaking worship elements of all Sunday morning services are prepared, staffed, and completed with excellence. Their role is to equip and oversee the people who assist in those elements professionally and spiritually throughout the church’s ministries (i.e., Contemporary, Young Adults, Children’s, Students) where applicable. This role is part-time (20 hours), exempt and will report to the Detroit Campus Pastor.

The Worship Director requires a minimum of a high school diploma and musical proficiency is required, a college degree is preferred. This role will also require expertise in playing guitar and/or piano and singing, the right candidate will be comfortable in leading worship bands (traditional and/or contemporary) with excellence in a medium-large church setting, and possess competent general Bible knowledge, specifically in spiritual leadership and demonstrates application of the Gospel to daily life.

Administrative Assistant for Kids Ministry, Woodside Farmington Hills – Part-Time

The campus provides administrative and clerical support for the Kids Ministries departments, through the direction of the Director of Family Ministries and the respective Kids & Students Ministries Directors. This position is part-time, non-exempt.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, an Associates degree is desired. This role assists the Kids Directors in effectively carrying out the administrative and clerical needs for Kids Ministries, oversees and coordinates registration for events, retreats, classes, trips, etc. for the Kids Ministries departments and develops, and maintains and updates Communication plans for promotional needs, parent resourcing, leader development, and event details using web, emails, social media, video, letters, phone calls, etc. The Administrative Assistant for Kids Ministries also develops, maintains, and updates Communication plans for engagement with guests and attendees for all programs, schedules weekly volunteers and communicates with them the details needed for Sunday morning Kids Ministry, and provides other campus support as directed by the Campus Pastor.

Custodian, Woodside White Lake – Part-Time

We currently have a part-time (29 hours a week) Custodial position open at the White Lake Campus.

Custodians at Woodside are a vital part of the overall appearance and presentation of the church. Applicants should have an attitude of professional excellence, as it pertains to event set up and cleaning of the church facility. Ability to work well with people, attention to detail and dependability are a must. Cleaning experience preferred. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and members of Woodside Bible Church.

Maintenance Technician, Woodside Bible Church – Part Time

The Maintenance Technician is a Part-Time, hourly position (29 hours per week) reporting to the Central Facilities Director. This role will execute the daily repair and maintenance work orders, and carpentry build projects. Depending on role assignment and speciality experience, may be assigned to handle HVAC and electrical.

This role must have five years’ experience in general building maintenance, carpentry, and equipment repair desired. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred. The Maintenance Technician must have knowledge of and experience in properties and plant management/maintenance, as well as experience in managing, delegating, and coordinating projects.
