The Akha, a people group of roughly 2.1 million, live in the mountains of Thailand where many have never heard the name of Jesus Christ – that’s 2.1 million souls separated from their loving Savior. The House of Light Children’s Home is a safe haven for more than 60 at-risk Akha children. Sponsoring one of these children provides not only a home, but opportunity to hear the Gospel as well as gain vital skills for life and work. Through the Akha Light Bible Institute, 25 young men and women from across Southeast Asia receive seminary training each year. These Gospel ambassadors are then mobilized to plant churches in the unreached regions of Thailand, bringing hope to millions who have never heard the Truth.
Pastor John and Nut Phiphattaradon have dedicated their lives to evangelism of the Akha people. As leaders of the Akha Light Foundation, they are transforming an entire people group one soul at a time. We are privileged to partner with them in loving and serving the Akha community.
