At Woodside, we are dedicated to resourcing individuals and communities about the importance of taking care of one’s mental health and providing opportunities to get help. And we want to join in the continued conversation surrounding mental health and offer Godly resources to help those in our church family and beyond.

One of the most common struggles people experience today is anxiety. Anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness that can often elevate one’s heartbeat and cause one to feel restless or stressed. Anxiety disorder symptoms can worsen over time without the proper help from mental health professionals, treatment plans, and familiarizing oneself with appropriate resources that can help educate and provide daily tools.

Below you’ll find five Christian books to add to your reading list as supplemental resources for understanding anxiety and anxiety disorder. If you or a loved one are struggling or are looking for professional help, please contact us, and one of our Campus Pastors would love to meet you, talk with you, and connect you with a mental health professional.
